Untraceable is not one of your typical horror-killer films. It is a psychological thriller that plays on every level of your senses. I found myself almost out of my seat the entire time. The film has a great cast and so much drama and intensity. Critics have commented that this film is the new Silence of the Lambs. In my opinion, it is much better than any of the Hannibal Lecter films. The villain in this film is much more deadly and almost has no way of being traced or stopped. It is up to a Federal Agent who specializes in tracking down online crimes, to stop this deadly killer.
The killer own a website that shows a victim in a certain deadly situation. One more and more viewers start coming to the site, the victim is slowly killed. In one case, a man is strapped to the floor and is surrounded by light bulbs with high voltage. When viewers start coming to the site, the bulbs are turned on and the man is roasted and bubbles start appearing on his skin. This is just a taste of the terror shown in this film. Be sure to check out this film and don’t be surprised if you are on the edge of your seat the entire time.
