The Man Who Shot JFK?

We have all heard the story of how one man supposedly shot one of our greatest leaders. Many us to this day have a hard time accepting this. How could one man do such a horrible thing? It must have been a conspiracy. Yet, when you look at the story of Lee Harvey Oswald, things aren’t necessarily as strange as they seem. Could this man have done it himself?
Oswald was a lonely child. He never had many friends and kept to himself for much of his childhood. When he was seventeen he joined the Marine Corps. While in the service, he was listed as one of the best sharpshooters in his platoon. Interesting, huh? After his honorable discharge, he became a soviet citizen and moved to Russia.
People assume that while he was there, he was part of some secret Russian government project. Yet here is no evidence of this, so we can be assured that the Russians had nothing to do with Kennedy’s death. While living there, he was a known womanizer. He met a woman named Marina and married her shortly after. He moved back to the U.S. hoping to get attention for becoming a Soviet citizen. However, at the airport there were no journalists or photographers. This deeply upset Oswald. The attention he had been seeking had not come to fruition.
After having his daughters, it was reported that Oswald was physically abusive to his wife. His next attempt was to shoot General Walker. He ordered an Italian bolt-action rifle and snuck into the backyard of the General. The bullet was deflected by the side of the window and Oswald’s attempt was unsuccessful. He fled the area, and left no evidence of being there.
So we can see Oswald’s motives were not one of politics, they were more for attention. A very sad story, that a man has to kill people and go to extremes just to get noticed. After hearing all this, isn’t it possible that Oswald could have killed JFK? He had the rifle. He was the only man left in the building after the President was shot. And he was a known by his family as mentally unstable.
