The Lucerne Inn is widely-regarded as one of the most beautiful locations in scenic Maine, looking just-over Phillips Lake from the mountainside. It is a great spot for fine dining, entertainment, and simply to have a good time.
However, what most visitors don’t realize about the Lucerne Inn are the hauntings that take place there. According to legend, footsteps are heard, shadows are spotted on the walls, and the sounds of people talking can be heard from behind doors. The Lucerne Inn is a beautiful place to stay and visit, but be sure to keep a look-out for the ghosts that haunt its halls.
