On the night of November 9th and 10th 1965, a power outage occurred which affected millions of people from Canada to Pennsylvania. Many were left stranded in the subway system of New york city. At the time there were rumors of it being a power blackout caused by UFOs. An unknown woman later claimed that aliens had admitted to her that they indeed were the ones who caused the blackout. Many who witnessed this event would never forget it.

Washington claimed that the problem began near Niagara Falls. No one though knew why it had occurred. The chief of the power-generating plant said that there were no severed lines and none of the generators were defective. People in and around the plant were stunned to find no likely explanation as to why this occurred. However, at the time of the blackout, UFOs were reported. A United States Air Force pilot sighted a mysterious object near Niagara Falls just before the blackout.

Media networks across the area reported this event and it circulated the theory of a UFO connection. Some government officials claimed that a broken relay within the power plant was the cause of the blackout. However, officials working at the plant claimed that no such relay had been broken. There was barely any investigation into the matter and the media seemed to silence the whole event. Within a few days, the UFO connection was no longer mentioned.
