The movie The Gingerdead Man takes place in the town of Waco, Texas, where the Leigh family is attacked in their diner by deranged killer Millard Findlemeyer. Millard kills the father James and his son Jeremy. The only members of the family left alive after the incident are the mother and daughter, Sarah and Betty. Shortly after, we find out that Millard was put to death by the testimonies of Sarah, who witnessed the killings of her father and brother.

After the execution, Sarah and Betty relocated and opened up a bakery. One night after hours, the mother of Millard drops off the remains of his cremated body in a jar that says gingerbread mix. After using the mix, out of the oven comes a living gingerbread man with the possessed soul of the killer. He walks and talks and instantly becomes violent eventually killing most of the employees working at the bakery.

Once Sarah thinks the cookie is dead, the soul then possesses someone elses body. They kill the body, there fore killing the soul by throwing it into the oven. The soul of Millard seems to have been sent down to hell for the rest of eternity. That is, until The Gingerdead Man 2: Passion of the Crust. I will write a sequel to this post displaying the events that take place in the next movie.
