The Fort Worth Stockyards
The Fort Worth Stockyards are located in Fort Worth, Texas. Fort Worth is the city traditionally thought of as to where the West begins. The Stockyard section of the town is where a small fort was built to fight off the Indians. To this day, the Stockyards look identical to the way they did during the days of the cattle drives. The hotels, restaurants, and shops are still in the same spots that they were built on. Ghost stories are prevalent in the Stockyards and was once a home to outlaws and gunfights. Miss Molly’s Hotel is a former bordello that has at least two rooms and the kitchen that are haunted. The Stockyard Hotel has recorded two ghosts that were reported by the staff. Many people have spent nights in the hotel there, including Bonnie and Clyde.
