The Flatwoods Monster

On the night of September 12th, 1952, a few teenagers of the town of Flatwoods, West Virginia saw in the sky what they believed to be a meteorite in the sky and then crashed into a hill nearby. After gathering some people, the group of teenagers and one adult went up to the hill to investigate the situation. There were seven people in this group and when they reached the hill they all claimed to have seen a ten foot tall monster with a green body and red face.
The group disbanded immediately and fled in terror to tell the police what they had seen. The cops didn’t believe the story but a group of armed men went up to the hill not long after the incident and didn’t find anything out of the ordinary. The news of this apparent UFO sighting picked up around the country and two of the seven in the group were invited to New York City to tell their story on several radio stations. UFO researchers have even gone to the hill to do an investigation and they claimed to have found strange markings in the earth. There have been no reported sightings since that night.
