The Existence of God
Most people in the world believe that we were created by a supreme being. We have many different names for him: God, Jehovah, Yahweh, The One, The Creator. If there is a God who created us to be good people, then why is it that we fight wars, slaughter people, and take joy out of torturing other human beings? If there is a creator, we certainly were not his best creation.
Most religions would refute these statements, by using the typical “free will” statement. But in my opinion, this is just the way they attempt to backup the existence of a supreme being. They don’t want to say how we humans are truly evil people and if we had no rules or laws, we would kill our neighbors without hesitation. They would rather just sound ignorant and say “Well, God gave us free will.”
So basically, what you are telling me is that this creator guy, whoever he might be, loves us, yet he didn’t get involved when 6 million people were murdered in the Holocaust, or when 3,000 people died on 9/11, or when millions of people died during both World Wars. Yeah, this is a great guy who I would definitely depend on. The faith these religious people must have to honestly believe there is someone out there who cares for us is extraordinary.
This is about the last time I will ever reply to a website on the existence or not of a godhead. You either belkieve or you don’t and no amaount of persuasion, one way or another is going the change the opinion of anybody. In my opinion the great millstone aroundthe neck of humanity iS ORGANISED religion. In dividual faith…all right. I respect that. I do not respect the CHURCH, I have to bear it willy-nilly. I do not “hate” the CHURCH. I hate nothing. With regard to “religion”, I have, as they say, “been there there, done that, and bought the the Tee-shirt” Any questions about Father Xmas”?
what are you talking about? why don’t you think about the fact of all the blessings we have in our lives? Some people choose evil over good which is why problems exist in the world. God does not make anything happen, he gives us our lives to have the opportunity to do either good or evil. This goes back to the story of Adam and Eve. You have one life from God, it is up to you and solely you who decide the choices and decisions that you make. Unfrotunately, the temptations of evil seem so great that they follow this, that my friend is why bad things happen in this world. Not because God let it happen.

There has to be a God because the universe cannot create itself. We were created by a God, the same God that is looking down on you frowning when he sees you all questioning him. There’s plenty of evidence that shows that he exists, for instance how the Blessed Mother Mary appears to people in Medjugorje. I wrote a post about this. Check it out. Mary spoke to three children in Fatima and a number of people in Medjugorje and will disclose earth secrets that God will perform on the Earth to prove to everyone that he does exist. Why do atheists have to mock religion every chance they get? To answer why God doesn’t save all these people is quite simple. I’m gonna quote Saint Thomas Becket here.

I only used it to explain the theory that people will do anything to survive, even murder, steal and rape.
I know this is hard for your ignorant mind to comprehend, but the Joker has been a good example of how we humans are evil creatures. Even psychologists have used him as an example.

Ian, you’re a very sad person who needs to have a little faith. I think you’re the ignorant one here. Even in the movie, the people on those ships didn’t blow each other up. Thus your argument is invalid.
Grow up dude, and just accept that people have beliefs that differ from yours. Stop acting like an angsty teenager.
That was just one example and the ending was for hollywood purposes.
Don’t think for a second that people would not blow up a ferry if their life was in danger. There were enough examples in that movie that showed how desperate people were to survive.

Your article denies the existence of God on the basis of his apparent “ignorance” of evil deeds perpetrated on earth by mankind. Perhaps God created life, set out the rules & then decided to “check out”?

Surely in a universe where balance is essential to existence, if there is evil there must be an opposite to that? – what’s that I wonder? Good? God even? Look into a child’s eyes & re-write that sentence with conviction.
