The Ape Men of Mount St. Helens

There have been numerous sighting of a large ape like big foot creature in Washington. In Mount St. Helens, one of the most famous reports took place into what now is referred to as Ape Canyon. Fred Beck was a retired miner who for years would talk about a story of when him and his friends were at a cabin there and spotted two giant apes. They killed one of them but couldn’t recover the body because it fell off a cliff. The other apes heard about this and retaliated by trying to break into the cabin by rolling huge rocks but they couldn’t get in.
The next morning, the miners looked out if the window to see if the apes had left and there was no sign of them. However, they noticed large footprints all around the cabin. The men fled immediately and when a group of men went back to investigate the situation, they noticed the unusually large footprints as well. No one knows for sure if this phenomena was just made up, but on May 18th, 1980, Mount St. Helens had an enormous volcanic eruption and wiped out everything in that area. Due to the explosion, if there ever were apes in the area, they must have been wiped out by the explosion.
