The Alien Cult

According to people who believe in this cult, aliens crashed at Roswell in 1947. The U.S. Government recovered the alien craft and has been secretly meeting with aliens ever since. The increase in UFO sightings is due to the increase in alien activity on Earth. The aliens now, more than ever, are abducting people, and are leaving signs of their presence in the form of crop circles. They are also involved in cattle mutilation.
The support for these beliefs about aliens consists mostly through speculation. UFO believers also think that there is a government conspiracy to cover up the alien activities. It is probable that there is life somewhere besides earth in the universe. There is a high probability that among the trillions of stars in the galaxies there are millions of other planets. It seems likely that on those planets life has evolved. It is even possible that the laws of evolution governs their biology. It is not unlikely that the results of that evolution would yield intelligence, much less intelligence equal to ours own.
