St. Anthony Hall Fraternity House
St. Anthony Hall Fraternity house at the University of Mississippi has been talked about often in Mississippi local legend and lore. In the 1900s, a member of the hall was killed in a car accident. Legend has it that since that time, paranormal occurrences have been taking place at the old hall. Students there today claim that they have heard footsteps and odd noises coming from the rooms. Televisions have also turned themselves on and off there. Others have even reported to see the apparition of a young male in the library in the middle of the night.
The ghost is believed by many to be the spirit of the boy killed in the car accident many years ago. When the house is unoccupied during the summer, employees working there have also reported hearing the sound of footsteps and other noises from all around. The ghost makes this fraternity house a household name in the great state of Mississippi.
