Sleepy Hollow

The place known as Sleepy Hollow lies in a wooded area behind the Kulpmont Cemetery located just outside of Kulpmont, Pennsylvania. Numerous decapitated tombs lie in a think area of overgrown trees and weeds. Walking into the almost surreal area, its as if you are walking underneath a tunnel of trees. The legend of Sleepy Hollow here is not the famous legend with the headless horseman. This is a local legend, and it deals with three men who ventured into the cemetery many years ago. While in the cemetery, the men tore down a large cement cross that stood on a platform in the middle of the site. The monument was completely destroyed.

After destroying the cross, they drove away. On the way home, the three men were all killed in a deadly car accident. There is also another legend regarding the cemetery. It is believed that the location was used to perform satanic rituals in the 1980s and 1990s. Satanic symbols can still be found carved into the trees. There are a lot of unexplained accounts on the site, including at the stroke of midnight, when the sound of an old organ can be heard playing. People who visit the cemetery will find an extreme uneasiness throughout their visit until leaving.

So you talk about Sleepy Hollow in Kulpmont but have NO FACTS to support your claims. It’s stupid and bogus to suck people into the realm of the supernatural in a dark way.

Okay “me”, don’t comment on this site ever again if you are going to be one of those people who sit back and think that you are the master of the universe and that the whole paranormal community is just out to get you.

so. i have gone to this place 4 times in the past week. and 3 of the 4 times crazy things have happened.

they may be explainable but i will share. i have never read or heard about the legend when i went there.

i did in fact hear the organ for a good minute before i decided to leave. the tree’s were practically alive and branches would swing and break off at you. heard things like growling, screaming, running, the millions of branches breaking off, dogs?, and gun shots.

branches randomly break off and land ride beside you. this could just be a coincidence though.

not sure if someone has an organ near by. there is no way to explain that any other way.
