Slasher in the Car

In this urban legend, it is said that men would hide under women’s cars in mall parking lots who would slash their ankles when they would return to their vehicles. This has broken out from time to time in the United States especially in 1984 when there were two dozen scares in at least 20 different states. It is said that they aim at the Achilles tendon with a tire iron or a knife which would immobilize the victims to rob or rape them. This type of urban legend tend to surface around the Christmas season. Some stories even link the attacks to gang initiations.
