I heard a story online that I thought would be interesting to share to the readers of this site. Apparently, the Six Flags over Georgia in Atlanta has something a little more scary than its roller coaster rides.

Legend has it that there is the ghost of a little girl seen at the park. This girl pretends that she is lost amidst the crowd, possibly in an attempt to get you to follow her.

If you do follow her, she will lead you deep into the woods, far away from any scenes of the park. When this happens, she will vanish, and then you are completely alone in trying to get back to civilization.

Have fun going on the rides!

In the early 1970s, a nine-year-old girl with blond hair was struck and killed in front of the Amoco gas station. For years, guests have encountered a little blond girl who runs up to them exclaiming, “Mommy! Mommy! Will you help me find my mommy?” Guests who have walked along with the child to find someone who can help her become panic-stricken when they suddenly notice that the little girl is gone. Usually she disappears after she and the guest have walked ten yards.

My mom’s friend works nightshift as a security guard at six flags, he has seen many strange things and heard reports that are not on this sight!. Here are a few:

•the little girl at the gas station in the corner(the story already shown)

•a little boy bouncing a ball around in the splash waterfalls area.

•a american indian women seen in the restrroms by the monster plantation

•a child crying inside the monster plantation.

•a little black horse on the merry-go-round is haunted by a little boy who supposably fell off during the ride when the merry-go-round was still in new york.

•near the superman area, where the railroad tracks are, there used to be people who would dress up and act like they were hi-jacking the train, apparently, they stilll think they are on duty.

•inside the crystal pistol, a shadowy figure of a man who worked there back in the 70′s had a car accident on the way to work, he must be waiting for his turn in the spot light. Things have been said to dissapear, and during performances and rehearsals, that you can see his shaow up on the balconies.

•And their most recent and popular ghost: not too long ago, a man decided to go into a restricted area, where the batman comes low to the ground. He was hit in the head by a girls leg while retreaving a hat.He died instantly, maybe he is still searching for his hat. What do you think?

These are only a few stories of six flags, but, feel free to google the stories above or sixflags ghost, who knows, maybe next time you are at sixflags, you may encounter one of our ghostly friends…

This so creeps me out! I remember seeing this little girl when I was visiting the park with my family in the early 80′s…I was about 4 at the time (I’m now 31 but this memory has never left me as it was very disturbing to me as a child). I was sitting on one of the picnic tables located in the wooded area of the parking lot, only yards away from the Amoco station. I remember sitting there eating my PB & J sandwich when I saw this lost little girl go running by in a panic, calling for her Mommy. I remember she had long blonde hair with barrettes on each side of her head and she was wearing an outfit similar to mine. It was one of those terry cloth coverall jumper type outfits that tied on the shoulders. Very popular in the 70′s & early 80′s. I remember she was very bright, glowing almost. But I thought maybe it was from the sun. She was running back in forth calling for her Mommy and I saw her run right up to several adults, panicked and crying, asking for them to help her find her Mommy. I watched as one man never even looked down at her as she stood in front of him screaming for his help…he was looking straight forward. I watched this happen several times with several different adults. It really upset me and I remember thinking to myself, then asked my Mom “why won’t anyone help that little girl? she’s scared, she’s lost and she can’t find her Mommy”. But my Mom never answered me. She probably had no clue what I was talking about. I never forgot about it but had locked the memory away in the back of my mind for all these years. Until I was reading online one day (I believe it was Shadowlands.com) about the little girl who haunts Six Flags over Ga parking lot. When I read her description, I knew it was her that I saw that day.
