Sarah Connor

Sarah Connor has been called the hero of the Terminator franchise. She is the father of the savior of the human race. Her story is one almost anyone can relate to; a normal woman caught up in extreme circumstances. Her first appearance is in 1984. We meet Sarah as a young woman in her twenties. She works at a diner with her friends. Life is typical until one day when she is being followed by a man who has killed every other Sarah Connor in the city. After almost being shot, she is saved by a man named Kyle Reese. Reese is a soldier sent from the future to protect her and her unborn child from Terminators.
Sarah is initially weary of this story, since common sense tells her that machines like that cannot be built for many years. She eventually flees with Kyle Reese. He tells her that in the future a nuclear war erupted and almost all of the human race was wiped out. Machines took over and wanted to eliminate the rest of the human population on earth. However, Sarah’s son John became the leader of the people and fought to destroy the machines. Sarah and Reese evade the Terminator as long as they can until Reese is killed and Sarah must fight the machine on her own. She traps it inside a factory and crushes it.
