Saddam Hussein

Aside from Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin, only one other person truly adds up to the evil of these two. That man is Saddam Hussein. Hussein was a figure of controversy since his leadership in Iraq began. He has been called the Hitler of the middle-east. Among numerous atrocities he committed during his reign included gassing his own people, and opening up rape rooms for the entertainment of his sons.
In the 1980s, Iraq and Iran went to war. Saddam authorized the use of chemical warfare against the enemy Iranians and other opposing forces of his regime such as the Kurds. This type of warfare showed how much a danger Saddam was to the Middle-East. His possession of chemical weapons eventually lead to Iraq’s invasion in 2003. Soon after coalition forces invaded the country, Saddam went into hiding and his sons were killed in combat.
He was found in a hole and was arrested. He was tried for crimes against humanity and hanged. The video of his killing was recorded on a cell phone for the amusement of viewers. This wretched man’s death now is helping us get one step closer to world peace.
