Several staff members told me stories of lights going off and on and the candles blowing out in the dining area. My daughter and I had an opportunity to go to the ballroom on the 3rd floor. I have to say, that room gave me the chills and all I wanted to do was leave. If ever a place were haunted, Rutherglen would be. I also got a shot of the old servant's quarter (separate house) and got a pic that I still can't explain. There is a man in the window, but you can see through him. Very weird place.
