Roxy Studios is located in Long Island City in the borough of Queens, New York. For years, employees at the studio have told stories of many strange happenings. Ghostly figures have been seen on monitoring equipment, music is played loud when no one is there, and footsteps are heard above the studio even though there is nothing above it besides a crawl space. Also, on occasion clocks have flown off the walls, as well as books flying off the shelves with a few cold spots.

Roxy Studios became the music studio it is today in 1973. Since then, the studio has had four owners, with two of these owners already dead. The first one died of a brain tumor and the second one died of an overdose right in the studio. Both of these men’s spirits are believed to be haunting the studio. Most people that work there have not witnessed paranormal activity, and not many people are bothered by it. However, everyone is certain that it does exist. The Paranormal Investigation of NYC has an EVP recording from the studio of a child crying. This studio truly has a life of its own.

Found your posting while googling the studio. I will go ahead and say that most of the people who work here DO claim to have encountered paranormal activity. Additionally, we can be found at http://www.roxystudios.com

This place is an institution. One of the best studios in NYC. And they recently upgraded the equipment. Me and the guys come in on Saturday afternoons and have a blast. Whether you are a pro band practicing for your weekend gig or just a bunch of guys that love to jam as a hobby, this place is fantastic. And all the help are great people always willing to help. Peace Out……
