Robbins Reef Yacht Club

Robbins Reef Yacht Club is located in Bayonne, New Jersey and was originally incorporated over 100 years ago in 1906. The club’s main purpose is to encourage the sport of yachting and to teach the science of navigation. Inside the clubhouse, there is a bar, banquet hall, outside deck, game room, and lounges. The Great Lawn on the premises is the site of many large barbecues for club events. Also outside is a fully stocked tiki bar along with a patio, right near the boat launching area. This site is also home to the ghost of an old gentleman.
The ghost of this man was said to have committed suicide by hanging himself in one of the bedrooms upstairs. If anyone goes into this room, they will sense his presence by feeling intense cold spots. Bottles at the bar have been seen jumping off the ledge onto the floor and not breaking. When people attempt to replace the spot where the bottle previously was, that bottle will too go on the floor. It seems this old ghost still has his sense of humor.
