Located in Ceredo, West Virginia, the Ransdell House once played an important role in United States history. This is because the house was actually formerly used as a stop for the Underground Railroad. Interesting, isn’t it?
The house is believed to be haunted by slaves and soldiers from the Civil War era. Visitors have reported hearing the sounds of chains rattling and voices of soldiers talking. Doors have also been known to open and close on their own.
The severe intensity of the deaths surrounding individuals at Ransdell House must have been powerful enough to make an imprint in time of those unfortunate souls who met their fate there. It’s always upsetting to hear stuff like this.
