In 1997, a large black object appeared over the city of Phoenix. Hundreds of people witnessed the events. Could this be real or a hoax?

It’s not a hoax, but the “Phoenix Lights” were no big deal. Just a few A-10 warplanes flying in formation over the Phoenix area, some of which were dropping flares as part of an exercise. One person even saw the individual A-10s through a telescope. C’mon — you really thought a huge UFO flew over a big city with it’s friggin’ running lights on? If the UFO pilot cared to illuminate the craft with running lights so other airplanes might see it, why not call the control tower, too?
