In this urban legend, a girl swallows frog spawn. An octopus grows inside her with tentacles that reaches to every part of her body. Here is a brief summary, as published in a New Zealand newspaper in 1990: “Years ago a young woman complained about gripping pains in her stomach. When operated upon, a young octopus was discovered. The explanation? She swallowed an octopus egg while swimming.” Some believe that this urban legend resonates with fears of unwanted pregnancy.

Wow people will believe anything.Octopuses are completely amazing creatures but man, oh man not that talented!! So a woman swallows FROG eggs and an octopus grows inside her??? That makes absolutely no sense, if your gonna make up sh** you should probably remain in the same phylum as octopuses (Mollusca) or at least use an animal that is on the same evolutionary page (i.e. a coelomate invertebrate as opposed to a coelomate chordate, and vertebrate.) Next time you should try an sea slug or annelid worm or even better a parasite. It still wouldn’t make any sense but at least it wouldn’t be sooooo dumb. Quit giving these intelligent curious individual creatures a bad nam!! EPIC FAIL
Ha … the mystery of Centaurs and Minotaurs has finally been solved … women swallowing sperm from aquine and bovine species respectively … albeit not respectively …
GULP … equine not aquine … (my typo)
