Iron Maiden’s The Number of the Beast
There is no doubt that Iron Maiden is one of the best metal bands to ever grace the music scene. They have played and selled out of tickets in almost every arena in the United States and Europe. Their record, The Number of the Beast, has become the band’s most acclaimed album. However, there were rumors of supernatural phenomenon that plagued the band during this period of their recording career. Its no doubt that the title of the record could have something to do with it. It all started when album producer, Martin Birch crashed into another car that was being driven by a so-called “religious nutter.”
When Birch went back to take his car from the mechanic, the bill said 666.66. This price terrified Birch and he ordered the amount to be raised 667. When the band began recording musc, strange things happened in the studio. Amplifiers and guitars would just shut off without any explanation. Doors would open and close with no one there. The lights would also repeatedly turn on and off while the band was playing.
