Murphy Family Farm
The Murphy Family Farm is a private residence located in Longview, Washington. The original structure was destroyed by a fire and was rebuilt in 1920. There is a barn from the 1800s that still stands on the property, and within one mile of the property lay five different cemeteries that date back to 1800. There are many ghosts who haunt this property and no one is quite sure who they are. They could possibly be the former owners of the farm, or the spirits of all the grave sites nearby. The first week the Murphy family moved here, they started to experience paranormal events.
These events included lightbulbs always burning out, radios and televisions turning on and off by themselves, and the feeling of being watched even when they knew they were alone. The activity began slow but then it started to turn intense very quickly. One of the females of the house was pushed down a stairway and almost broke her foot, and then as she went to the kitchen she saw three apparitions staring at her, wearing what appeared to be clothes from the 1800s. The apparitions were that of a man, woman, and a teenage girl. In another instance, a little boy was pushed out of the window, giving him a fractured back. An apparition of a lady has also been seen walking the halls upstairs. No one knows for sure who the spirits are that are causing these hauntings, but it is unsafe and definitely not a place to stay around.
