The Ghosts of the Battle of Little Big Horn
The Battle of Little Big Horn in Montana was fought on June 25th, 1876 where the United States Army’s seventh cavalry battled the Sioux and Cheyenne warriors. The Americans were led by Lieutenant Colonel George Custer and the Native Americans were led by Crazy Horse and Sitting Bull. Custer and all 261 of his men were killed by the Native Americans in this bloody battle right on the cusp of the Little Big Horn River. However, this would be the last real victory for the Native Americans in any battle.
Throughout the history of the paranormal, ghosts at battlefield sites is very common. Little Big Horn is no different and there have been many reports of visitors feeling presences, seeing apparitions, and hearing the sounds of battle. There was also one visitor who disappeared for a few hours and came back in a daze claiming that he had gone back in time and witnessed some of the battle.
