Lakeview Cemetery
Lakeview Cemetery is located in Buhl, Minnesota and is a very intense place of hauntings. The Northern Minnesota Paranormal Investigators have come into contact with apparitions, heard voices, and smelt strange odors not from this world. Burials in this cemetery began in 1913 which was about the same time Shaw Hospital was built. This hospital was open to treatment for people diagnosed with tuberculosis or the mentally retarded. When these people died, they were usually buried in the cemetery in Potter’s Field which is next to the main cemetery.
The people in Potter’s Field were not even buried with names, but all the same cast iron cross with different numbers. A paranormal occurrence was captured on film in 2003, when a man sawlag waving violently, yet there was no wind. This was even accompanied by an EVP recording from unknown spirits. A male apparition wearing a touring cap and light-colored shirt with dark pants was seen walking amidst the gravestones. The clothing appeared to be from the 1920s era.

Really interesting read. I just love cemetaries but have never really come across a haunted one before as usually they reckon they are the last place one would want to haunt.
That man has been said to be seen there alot, he has been seen closing the main gate. I’ve been there quite a few times. taking picutres and walking around. one word i think of when im there is trapped. and in the pictures there is tons of orbs, and faces, but nothing that i felt was a happy feeling yet, and over where the statues are, is always warmer then where the rest of the cemetery is. and all the records of the shaw hospital dont exist, like names of the people that were buried in the potters field, nothing. Almost like someone didnt want them to exist?! I love going to that cemetery. its a new experience everytime. and there is alot of old grave markers bac kin the woods, and by this creek by the potters field, and in those areas, it smells horrid, unexplainable.

We are from northern minnesota . just going down to Duluth to entertain ourselves !!!! Ya we were planning on Lakeview Cemetary… ha ha It is really haunted dont know if I would like to go again. We went in the night and the day. If you want to know more call me… 435-7159 dont know if I will ever go back.
