Lake Bodom has become an infamous location in Finland. Once a place of beauty, it has now become a place that reminds any passerby about death and evil. The famous metal band Children of Bodom took their name from the event which occurred here. It is a gruesome tale, yet it must be told to reveal people of the horrors of the world.
The lake is located near the city of Espoo. It is about 25 miles away from the capitol city of Helsinki. On June 4 1960, a few teenagers were camping along the shores of the lake. Sometime in the early hours of the morning an unknown person came along and killed three of the campers with a knife.
Another person was also seriously wounded after being hit with a blunt instrument. The survivor’s name is Nils Wilhelm Gustafsson. He became a suspect after the initial attackĀ since the police could find no evidence of who committed the crime. In October of 2005, he was declared not guilty and has been living a normal life since then.
Although it has been open to speculation, a man who committed suicide some years after the event, claimed in his note that he was the Lake Bodom killer. He was known to have hard feelings towards campers. However, a police investigation disproved his claims, citing that his wife proved he was home asleep when the murders happened.

is it ghost? or something paranormal ?
No, Lake Bodom is a sacred place. It would be nice to visit there to pay my respects to the dead.
