Kennedy Conspiracy Theory

December 14th, 2008

Since that day in 1963, no one has been truly able to find the truth of what happened that day. The Warren Commission investigated and found that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone and no conspiracy was involved. These findings were almost universally panned. Other investigations came up with evidence that a conspiracy was very likely. Oliver Stone, in 1991, released the film JFK. The film told the story of lawyer Jim Garrison who attempted to uncover the real story behind the assassination of President Kennedy. Stone added much of his own theories into the movie. some of which included implicating President Johnson, the CIA, the Mafia, and the FBI in the assassination. Although the movie is a little far-fetched, it does give room for thought.

My personal theory is that John Kennedy was killed by a conspiracy in which Lee Harvey Oswald was implicated. Oswald was an intelligence officer in the Marine Corps. When he left America, he lived in Russia for many years. While there, he made friends within the Russian government and was trained to become an assassin to kill Kennedy. When Oswald came back, he chose to wait until the perfect time to kill the President. On November 22 1963, Oswald took a rifle to his job in the book depository. President Kennedy’s motorcade drove past the building and three shots were fired. Oswald was later arrested and killed by a man named Jack Ruby, who was a member of the Mafia in Dallas.
