I work in Pleasant Hall now, and I always get “creeped out” on the third floor, and also the basement. I’ve heard stories that this place was haunted, but really haven’t seen anything, but I really don’t leave the 1st floor much!

I went to check this out a little earlier with a friend tonight and I didn’t notice any ghosts… We walked around the 3rd floor a little bit and all the rooms were closed but it seemed like people use it daily as there were names on all of the office doors. All the lights were on and such and it was pretty breezy cause the air was on really high for some reason. I got a weird sensation in my stomach while walking for a while but that could just be because I was like ‘oh my gawd its haunted!!’ But yea no ghosts as far as I’ve seen. I’ll go check it out again some time though.

As a student working part-time for LSU Campus Security in 1973 – this is version I heard related by a long-time member of that force – At time that Pleasant Hall was Alumni Center Hotel two student workers (boy/girl) became romanically involved and would wile away slow hours in one of the hotel rooms. The girl became pregnant and when she informed the y0ung man he was dismissive and dumped her – being a Catholic girl and from a very traditional Cajun family she took matters into her own hands and came to work a few days later with a shotgun and gave her former beau both barrels. Don’t recall if she killed herself or not.
