I don’t know where Humber College is. The building is wonderful – not especially creepy, just abandoned and neglected. If I had money (if I had a dime for everytime I said this–!) I would buy it and turn it into something really classy, with decor befitting its era. It could even be used as a great community center, with meeting rooms and stuff. Um. sorry, probably the wrong site for this kind of commentary…
Yeah, it’d be great if it weren’t haunted. Although it only looks neglected, this building was used all throughout the 1900s for executions of people who were deemed dangerously insane. A large number of students have reported seeing ghosts in the windows of it, including a man who hangs himself in the window at the top of the building. It used to be used for classes I think, but it got to the point where there was so much paranormal activity that they just couldn’t use it anymore. I attend this campus, and currently it’s boarded up with steel from the inside, the windows have been knocked out, and the outside is boarded up with a second layer of steel that has been painted over. Good luck trying to make this place liveable…
