Gorman School
Gorman School is located in Lebec, California and has been haunted since its beginnings in 1938. The school was built on the site of a former farm where a girl was crushed to death by a tractor that her father was driving. The girl’s name was Harriet and she was only 12 years-old. Her body was buried on the property and it is believed to be under the stage in the auditorium of the school. The ghost of Harriet has shown herself to many students and teachers of Gorman School over the past few decades. Sometime in the 1940s a woman was at a meeting in the auditorium and came into contact with Harriet.
Harriet reportedly told this woman to not go outside. The woman did not listen to her, and as soon as she walked outside she slipped and fell on the snow, breaking her hip. Gorman School is a beautiful building that has a horrific and ugly past. When the two collide, the unexplainable tends to happen.
