Benjamin “Bugsy” Siegel was a notorious gangster who is credited for being one of the creators of what the city of Las Vegas is today. In 1945, Bugsy opened up a new establishment called the Flamingo Hotel. This hotel would become one of the major cornerstones of the Vegas Strip presently. While Bugsy was at the hotel, he would stay in the presidential suite. Bugsy became a very powerful figure because of the success of the hotel, and this would immediately put him in serious danger with his associates.

In 1947, while sitting in the Beverly Hills home of his girlfriend Virginia Hill, Bugsy was shot multiple times by a gunman through the window killing him instantly. Since then, people have felt the presence of the old mobster at the Virginia Hill house. However, his presence is even felt more so in his most prized establishment: The Flamingo Hotel. People staying in the presidential suite have seen the ghost of Bugsy and have felt his presence. Even though there were major renovations done on the hotel, the spirit of this deceased gangster has never been put to rest.

I’ve stayed at the Flamingo Hotel last week in the Presidential Suite and we do feel some kind of presence! Even before I learned that it was haunted, I felt strange about this Suite especially in the bathroom ahah! Anyway, this is a very creepy feeling!
