Daredevil is one of the relatively unknown superheros in the Marvel universe. His powers generally make people lump him in with characters such as Spider-Man. Yet, this character is much different. Created by Stan Lee in the 1960s, Daredevil was a guardian of New York City. As the decades went on, the character became a much darker and more menacing in his own right. Fans now consider him to be one of the best superheros that Marvel has ever created.

Matt Murdock is Daredevil’s secret identity. Murdock is a blind lawyer who dedicated his life to putting criminals off of the streets. When Murdock was a child, he became exposed radioactive chemicals that were released into his eyes. From this event, all of his other senses were sharpened. He trained himself to use these skills to his advantage. So at night, he puts on a red suit and stalks criminals to put things right in the streets of Manhattan.
