Creation

In the Bible, we hear of seven days in which God created the Heavens and the Earth. God created a man named Adam and woman named Eve. This story is considered by many religions to be the starting point of human history. Yet, can this be true? If we consider science as a credible source than this story is nothing more than a fictional story written to teach a lesson. There has been no historical evidence found to explain how everything in the universe cane be created in a seven–day period. Even the Big Bang theory states that it is possible a higher power created all of this, it certainly did not happen over this short period of time.

The realistic origins of man are shrouded in mystery and are up for debate. The first true presence of man was hundreds of thousands of years ago. No scientist knows how we suddenly appeared. However, there we are…hairy cavemen with barely any intelligence. It has been speculated that the reason why we suddenly appeared could be that God saw how the earth was flourishing and needed a source to take care of it. That is where humans came in. So, in a way, the creation story does have some truth to it. Maybe we weren’t created in a seven-day period, but we certainly could have suddenly appeared out of the blue from the source of a higher power.
