i recently retrived the old planks of the old bridge that were set aside for the concrete one they built. i moved the planks by pickup to my home in crowley,louisian. i built a shed out of the old planks and i recall seeing an apparition of a beautiful woman starring at me from the bayou side where the creitien plantation is located..however i noticed she had a dark concept about her and my dog-hunter growled at her and she simply vanished into thin air. hunter went to check for her and i continued to load the planks on my truck. i also had the felling that i was not alone while loading the wood..” i felt hands helping me load the planks and then felt like i was being pushed along to finish my chore.hunter was still looking towards the plantation when we left for home and starred at the house like he wanted to attack…i realize the mystery of the SPOOK BRIDGE ..but know someone was watching me.(337)785-0171 chow..mike

I’m only saying what we saw/smelt.. Believe what you want, but there are other witnesses that saw the exact same things as us.. Do I 100% believe it to be some kind of ghost… No, but what a HUGE coincidence…. It sure makes a hell of a story to tell.. and we’ve got the pics to go with it… The funny thing is that we smelt cigar and saw a woman before we even read up on it..

You know, a mind is a terrible thing to waste!!!!!! I have been to this plantation numerous times alone and nothing of the sort ever happen while I was there. I even placed a digital recorder on the window seal out back, and all I captured was noise, nothing out of the ordinary. The bridge has never had any paranormal activity. Now What!!!!

My fiance, best friend and I went last night to the plantation.. we made it to the plantation sometime around 11:00pm… I had heard that the bridge right past the plantation was haunted, but I didn’t know any details other than supposedly a woman would make an appearance on or around the bridge.. so we drove over the bridge twice and stopped for a few minutes each time and snapped a few pictures… As we would snap pictures we would put the windows down on my car… When we put the windows down we could smell the sweet smell of what could have been a cigar or maybe a chimney, but we could only smell the scent on the bridge. the minute we’d get off the bridge we wouldn’t be able to smell it anymore. My best friend snapped a few pics in which we could see orbs.. one orb seemed to have a face consisting of 2 eyes and a nose.. it was very clear to see, but none of believed in ghosts so at the time we didn’t think anything of it. That night when I got home.. I sat in my best and studied the pics that I had on my camera… Thats when the I saw what looked like a woman standing by the bridge wearing a black hat w/ what seemed to be a Vail hanging down to her waist.. I didn’t know for sure what I was seeing so I showed the picture to my fiance and my father and they both saw the same thing. Well tonight I decided to do a little research… only to find that the mistress of the plantation smoked cigars(we smelled it on the bridge). The mistress also wears a black hat with a Vail!! I am in absolute shock and can’t believe my own eyes… We saw these things before we even knew that other witness accounts claim seeing the same things. By the way.. the orb in my bestfriends picture.. I’ve read up on it also… its said to be the face of the pirate!

My friends and i went to the house of nov.14,2009 at night and it got real cold then we went up to the hose and we saw someone in the window and then we turn around and then we went on the bridge and the car stop then it came back on then it cold!! then we just say a white clod go across the bridge! what’s up with that!?

that’s possibly the pirate was killed there is an orange orb of a masked man above my left shoulder. really scary looking masked man with a long
beard.
