Chinese Restaurants
Chinese Restaurants always seem to attract many rumors and stories. Besides the United States, these restaurants have been under question in many other countries including Germany, Great Britain, and Scandinavia. A lot of urban legends about Chinese restaurants are those in which the customer claims to have found a rat bone, finger, or other foreign objects in the food. Some legend says that a scientist once found a stringy piece of meat while at a Chinese restaurant and immediately put it in his pocket and tested it in his lab and found out that it actually was part of a finger. Another instance is when a guest was choking on a bone and after he cleared it, the bone was actually from a cat.
Another area on Chinese restaurants urban legends is the inspections of the kitchens by health authorities. Skins and heads of dogs and cats have been found in the garbage.
