June 28th, 2009

michael-jackson-thriller

On June 25, 2009, Pop legend Michael Jackson passed away from cardiac arrest in his rented mansion. The news shocked millions of fans around the world. He died at age 50, having spent 45 years in the spotlight, making up to be 92% of his life. Throughout his life, he has been through many hardships, including legal issues, media criticism, and family matters. Despite all of this, his music still shines and is hold closely by fans throughout the world. With the power of music, he brought upon change to benefit the greater good.  Thriller, his sixth studio album, is the greatest selling album of all time, one that is very unlikely to be beaten.

It seems as if Michael Jackson has left his mark and has left and will never come back. Since this is Paranormalknowledge.com, the question I have to ask you us: Will he return to make some ghostly visits to close friends and family? Does he have any unfinished business? Some simply say no, and claim that he has walked out on top. However, he was planning on making the biggest comeback of his entire career and passed away just weeks before the first of fifty concerts. Is this unfinished business?

It will be interesting to see if any close friends and family will experience any ghostly encounters from the “King of Pop”. If they do and choose to release this information to the public, you can guarantee that Paranormalknowledge.com will be writing an article on it. Until then, R.I.P. Michael Jackson.

June 1st, 2009

I warn everyone who decides to view the videos I have embedded below. I recommend that anyone who has any serious medical conditions or who cannot take a good scare to not view the videos below. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

I know that a lot of you have been looking to find some of the scariest stuff on the Internet so I have put together a list of the top ten scariest to find so far. This is brought to you by the number-one paranormal information website that is on the Internet today, Paranormalknowledge.com:

1. Ghost Car – This is probably the most popular video on the Internet today used to scare people with. I saw this video years ago and it seems that it is not disappearing. If you haven’t seen this video yet, I recommend you do but don’t say I didn’t warn you. Most people trick their friends by not even telling them that they are in for a scare.

2. Ghosts & EVP Recordings Video – I spotted this video out recently but it has been getting a lot of attention on the Internet. It is a collection of video clips from paranormal investigators doing research. It is very chilling, some of the stuff in this video.

3. Real Ghost Pictures – Here are a collection of photos that are claimed to be real pictures of ghosts. Although the sources of these photographs are questionable, it is quite scary.

4. A Real Ghost – This is a video that I have also found recently. It is said that this video shows a man being taunted by an evil spirit. You watch as the ghost plays around with the door which is quite scary because it appears as if there is no way he can be faking it.

5. Ghost Sighting – Here is another video that is going to give you a scare much like “Ghost Car”, it has been gaining some popularity recently.

6. Possible Fallen Angel In Catalonia – I found this video on a website recently. It may seem a little farfetched but it is definitely scary the first time you see it.

7. Hide And Seek – Here is a scary video of father who is playing hide and seek with his daughter, only to find out that his daughter is playing with her “imaginary friend”. The ghost is supposedly caught on camera as you can see in the video.

8. Gas Station Ghost – I remember that this video was actually investigated by paranormal researchers and, so far, to my knowledge, this video has not been proven as a hoax. Check it out.

9. Gettysburg Ghost – This has to be one of the clearest evidences of supernatural activity on this Earth. This video has not yet been proven as a hoax so it is possibly real.

10. Ghosts, Spirits, and Demons – Here is a good ghost video for you to look at.

The Ghost of William Faulkner

March 18th, 2009

Faulkner House Books is located on Pirate’s Alley, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The building that houses this establishment was originally built in 1840, and it contains countless works of classic authors over the last two centuries, including that of William Faulkner. Newer books have been brought to the collection as well, such as the Joshua Clark collection of French Quarter Fiction. Since this store is named after Faulkner, it is telling that Faulkner once spent time in this building. Faulkner was born in 1897 in Oxford, Mississippi. He later moved to New Orleans after World War I, where he lived here.

He only had a formal education up to the 10th grade, but he was determined to make a living for himself as a writer. During the day, he would work for people around the neighborhood, and then at night he would go home and work on his first works of poetry. The first book of poems he published was called The Marble Faun, and his first novel was titled Soldiers’ Pay. Both of these works were published in 1924. As he worked, it is said the Faulkner puffed on his smoking pipe, watching the smoke going upward into the air, gaining inspiration from it.

Faulkner only lived in New Orleans for a few years, but the spirit of the Crescent City forever remained with him. He later died in 1962, but some believe that his spirit has come back to visit his old house in the French Quarter. Visitors to the book store have reported smelling the smoke from his pipe on the first floor. The odor is most often smelt at the rear of the room and a small hallway to the right of the entrance to the store. Even though the store is believed to be built in 1840, a recent discovery may prove that is even older. A brick floor was found in a herringbone pattern that was an essential component to 18th century structures. Therefore, the ghost of William Faulkner may also have some other company with him.

Bernie Mac’s Ghost

March 2nd, 2009

His comedy was adored by millions. He was one of Hollywood’s most respected actors. At the age of 50 on August 9, 2008, Bernard Jeffrey McCullough, aka Bernie Mac, died suddenly by complications from pneumonia. He passed away in Chicago, Illinois, where he was also born. He started as a stand-up comedian in Chicago’s Cotton Club. His popularity as a comedian began to grow at the age of 32 when he won the MIller Lite Comedy Search. From then on, he’s appeared in many movies, comedy programs, and even had his own television series, The Bernie Mac Show.

Has Bernie Mac made a ghostly presence? His wife says so. The wife he left behind, Rhonda McCullough, describes the first visit in their Chicago home:

I could smell his cologne. I inhaled and I said, ‘You’re here’. I was turning around and saying, ‘Hey Bernard’. It stayed with me for about five minutes.

I don’t always feel him. But I think he comes when I really need him.

This is another tragic Hollywood death. Our hearts go out to the family.

Heath Ledger’s Ghost

January 5th, 2009

photo taken from timeinc.net

Heath Ledger was a well-respected actor. Starring in movies like 10 Things I Hate About You, Brokeback Mountain, A Knight’s Tale, and his legendary performance as the Joker in The Dark Knight, Heath Ledger was a rising star. On January 22, 2008, in New York City, around 2:45 pm (EST), he was found unconscious in his bed by his housekeeper and his masseuse. Instead of first calling 9-1-1 for help, the masseuse decided to call the apartment’s owner, Mary-Kate Olsen.

At 3:26 pm, she finally dialed 9-1-1 for help. Performing CPR by operator request was unsuccessful. Police arrived seven minutes later and were also unsuccessful in reviving him. This marked the death of a talented young actor. He was twenty-eight years old at the time of his death.

The question to ask would be: Is this young actor still here in spirit? The answer, according to his ex-girlfriend, Michelle Williams, is yes. It has been said that Ledger has visited his ex-wife more than once. She said that he appears in a shadowy apparition. The first time she was awoken by hearing her furniture move. Another time, she said that he had apologized to her for not helping raise their two year-old daughter, Matilda.
