Carluccio’s Tivoli Gardens

December 24th, 2008

Carluccio’s is located in Las Vegas, Nevada and is an extravagant restaurant that is known for its excellent Italian food. It is located across the shopping center from the Liberace Museum. This restaurant was actually part of Liberace’s dream for a center dedicated to geniuses. However, Liberace dreams would never be reached since he died before he was able to finish his plan. In 1982, he purchased the restaurant and renamed it Liberace’s Tivoli Gardens. Liberace did much of the interior design himself to achieve the European extravagance he yearned for.

Liberace was a hands-on owner and never left a single thing to chance. Liberace died in 1987 and the Carluccio’s bought the restaurant. They believe that ever since the death of Liberace, his ghost has been haunting the building. Several people have reported seeing an apparition of him in the piano lounge or standing near the window. Glasses have clinked together on their own and loud noises have been heard from silverware moving around. One mysterious being asked a pianist to play a song and then vanished into thin air. Toilets have flushed on their own and water faucets turn on and off.
