Book of Revelation War

The Book of Revelation is the last book of the King James version of the Christian Bible. It was written during the first century by a man named John. The book tells of a series of visions that were shown to John by God. The belief by many is that these visions were predictions of a huge war that will happen between the forces of good an evil. This could be an allusion to modern-day conflicts. Many feel that the wars and conflicts today are going to collide and become one giant war which will set the events of the apocalypse in motion.

But when and where will this happen. Well with the events of today, one can almost confidently say that this war will happen somewhere in the Middle-East. Most likely, many Arab nations will declare war on Israel. Israel will launch a nuclear weapon and the third world war will start. When this will all happen is up for debate. One could argue that 2012 is the most likely time for this event to occur.

This will be a terrible time for the earth, but according to the Bible, the outcome is good. Jesus will appear and bring peace on earth. If all this happens, still remains to be seen.

We are witnessing the disastrous oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. As a Catholic I was interested in re-reading what the Book of Revelation has to say. I noticed you said the King James version has this book.
The Catholic Bibles also have this book. We have a much larger Bible. Much of the liturgical presentation in this book is re-presented at every Mass, every day in every Catholic Church and has been since the first gospels were written beginning 50 AD. The Bible is the fruit of the believing people of the first century.
