Birdfoot Exam
The final exam in a college ornithology exam consists of identifying a number of birds by their feet. The students are given drawings of bird feet or pictures of birds with everything covered except for their feet. All the students are outraged with one of them marching to the front of the room, slamming his exam on the professor’s desk and says “this is the stupidest test I’ve ever seen!”. The professor asks for the students name and the student hitches up his pants leg, extends his foot, and says, “You tell me professor!” and stomps out of the room.
The themes found in this legend are those of unreasonable testing procedures and instructors in large universities failing to know individual students.
