Bertha’s Restaurant was constructed in Baltimore, Maryland around 1770. It was built in the Historic Fells Point district of Baltimore and has served the functions of a boarding house, a saloon, an eatery, and even a brothel. The patrons of the restaurant come from all different ages and backgrounds. The place is famous for its mussels, and is often crowded. Customers and workers have reported strange paranormal occurrences for many years. A man dressed in 19th century clothing was seen at a downstairs window by a customer walking around the restaurant, while another saw a lady dressed in white descending down the stairs.

Dark figures are also seen, with uneasy feelings by those who witness them. The Maryland Paranormal Investigation Group did an investigation at the restaurant and recorded the sound of a woman laughing on the EVP. Also, a trunk on the second floor began to violently shake on its own.
