Batman 3: Revenge of the Knight?

Well, 2008 is over and one of the biggest movies in cinema history has come and gone: The Dark Knight. This film grossed well over a billion dollars. It became a cultural phenomenon and already a sequel is being talked about. Many have said, “How can you top that move?” Well it is very likely that even though the next movie probably will not do as well as the previous film, it is still fun to speculate possible plot-lines that mayoutdue Heath Ledger’s Joker.
What we know so far is that the next movie will leave off exactly where The Dark Knight left off. Batman takes responsibility for Harvey Dent’s death, and Gordon must lead a manhunt to find Batman and bring him to justice. Here are a few ideas of how the movie may go:
- The Riddler is the villain and he tries to expose how Harvey Dent became a murderer.
- Catwoman is the villain and she becomes Batman’s love interest, threatening his identity and his desire to find love.
- The Penguin is the villain and he becomes the leader of the Joker’s mob and tries to destroy everything Gotham stands for.
