Ballyboley forest is located in Larne, Northern Ireland. Believed to be home of the Druids, the forest has been a place of wonder and mystery. Stone formations and trenches in the ground is the proof that we have to give some evidence of the Druids existence in the area. To read more about the Druids, click here. From the 15th-17th centuries, several people had disappeared in the forest. Although the forest is near a local park, no one dares to go in the forest.
The sightings that have been reported in the forest are black smoke, screaming voices, four human-shaped figures, a lady moaning, and an eerie feeling that you get once you venture off the paths. Locals believe that the forest is the gateway to the Other World from the Celtic tradition.
