Ashbary Coffee House
Ashbary Coffee House is located in Willow Springs, Illinois. It is located on Archer Avenue which is a legendary haunted place in Willow Springs. Ashbary Coffee is no exception, containing a ton of hauntings that happen quite frequently. One report from an employee said that she would never use an Ouija board in the coffee house because the planchette was spinning in circles by itself. Another employee started to mock the others saying that these spirits were a product of their imagination, but that all changed when a coffee cup flew off the table and hit him.
A psychic by the name of Amy Cooper visited the coffee house, and said she felt the spirits were a family of four: a father, mother, son about 10 years of age, and daughter about 5 years old. The son and the mother seem to be afraid of the father and he appears to be the dominant figure. They seem to be friendly and have never caused any harm to anyone. There are many cold spots felt throughout the building, especially on the 2nd floor. The family is probably the spirits of one that lived at a house that previously was on the grounds before the coffee house. One amazing event that happened here was during a psychic fair, a tarot card was bent backwards and touched table as it was held in a psychics hand.
