Since Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed on the moon in 1969, many people thought that the whole event was faked in a studio in a secret underground base. The main example that provides them with a basis for this theory is that the flag is waving on the moon, where there is no gravity. Theorists also say that the images are so blurry that there is no way it could possibly be real. How do we have the technology to go to the moon, yet our cameras are so blurry? Well, for all these arguments there are dozens of counter-arguments. Conspiracy theorists saw that the main reason that we faked going to the moon, was to beat the Russians in the space race. However plausible this theory may be, there are many other facts that prove these conspiracies wrong.
- We went to the moon more than once. Why would we fake it more than once?
- The Russians were tracking us on our way to the moon. They would have been the first ones to say something.
- We had the technology to go to the moon. Since NASA’s inception in the late 1950s, small steps had been achieved in going to the moon. First, launching rockets, orbiting the earth, orbiting the moon, testing the lunar module, then finally landing on the moon. It is totally possible that we went to the moon.
- The flag looks like its waving because of the light from the sun shining on it as Buzz Aldrin holds it in place.
- We have taken images from the surface of the moon.
- We brought back moon rocks.
Your second point is all that’s needed to blow the whole conspiracy out of the water. It’s absolutely obvious and I’ve been saying it for years.
You can imagine the dialogue back in ’69,
Americans – “We’ve landed on the moon”.
Russians – “No you haven’t”.
It’s as simple as that.
