Agathodaemon

Agathodaemon, according to ancient Greek religion, was a spirit of the vineyards and grain-fields as well as a personal companion spirit, ensuring good health, luck, and wisdom. This spirit is little noted in Greek mythology, but is prominent in Greek folk religion. To honor him, it was customary to drink and pour out a few drops of unmixed wine in every formal banquet. He was also mentioned in Aristopharies’ Peace. His spouse or companion was said to be Tyche Agathe.
His numinous presence could be represented as a serpent or a young man bearing a cornucopia and a bowl in one hand, with a poppy and ear of corn in the other. It is also said that Agathodaemon could be bound up with the Egyptian bringers of security and fortune.
I think they can be female too, since it’s a companion spirit…=P
