2013
What will life be like in 2013? Well, according to the ancient Mayans, Terence McKenna, the i-Ching, Merlin, and numerous other prophets, the earth will go through some kind of drastic change on December 21, 2012. We can most easily assume that this might be the day in which a nuclear war is waged. By the end of the day, life as we know it on this planet will be gone.
Assuming some of us survived the nuclear fallout, we would have to remain in hiding for weeks to keep safe from the harmful radiation. After many months, it would be safe enough for us to see this new world. Almost everything would be different. Animals, trees, plant life, and cities would be destroyed. It would only take maybe a year for the surviving species to die out because of lack of sunlight to help plants create oxygen.
In short, there is no way to survive this day in our future. Yet, if somehow we are lucky enough to make it the next few days into 2013, we would be wishing the we had died sooner. The future has never looked more grim. All these prophecies point to this date. It is up to us to make our own assumptions about if this is truly a reality or another false alarm.
