2012 – Peace on Earth
Picture a world where mankind is truly at peace. War is not common. People have sex constantly. Government and police force is not needed. This sounds like something out of a science-fiction novel, right? Well it may not be a fiction much longer. With the date of December 21, 2012 looming ahead, there are many theories at work about what may happen on that controversial date. Some people have theorized that this will be the beginning of a huge blast in human consciousness. We as humans will now be able to get to a higher degree of thinking and be able to make a better society for ourselves and the rest of the world.
This has been called the Age of Aquarius. You may be familiar with this phrase from the hip musical Hair. The idea of this age, is that humans will be able to live in peace and sit and talk despite our differences. Religion will not be necessary because we will all have to ability to think for ourselves. We will not need doctrine to help us define our lives. At this time in the world, this possibility of peace on earth may seem ridiculous to the average person. But that day a few years from now in 2012 will tell us all we need to know.
